- Age
- 18-30 years (general). Age relaxation: SC/ST +5 yrs, OBC +3 yrs, PwD +10 yrs.
- Education
- Master's degree in Hindi with English as a subject at degree level (compulsory or elective) — OR — Master's degree in English with Hindi as a subject at degree level (compulsory or elective) — OR — Master's in any subject with Hindi medium and English at degree level — OR — Master's in any subject with English medium and Hindi at degree level. PLUS Recognised Diploma / Certificate in Translation between Hindi-English OR 2 years' translation experience.
- Nationality
- Indian citizen, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee, or person of Indian origin from specified countries.
Senior Hindi Translator (SHT)
- Age
- 18-30 years (general). Same relaxations.
- Education
- Master's in Hindi with English as a subject — OR equivalent combinations as above. PLUS 3 years' experience of translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa in central/state government / public sector / undertaking.
- Nationality
- Same as above.
Hindi Pradhyapak (Hindi Teacher)
- Age
- 18-30 years (general).
- Education
- Master's degree in Hindi from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. Plus a degree or diploma in Education / Teaching / Training.
- Nationality
- Same as above.
