IBPS PO 2026: how the CRP cycle and notification work

IBPS conducts the Probationary Officer Common Recruitment Process (CRP-PO) once each year on behalf of the participating public sector banks. The official notification appears on ibps.in and lists the participating banks, the tentative vacancy count, eligibility, and the Prelims and Mains dates.
The application window is short and the Prelims follows within weeks of registration closing, so there is rarely time to start preparation after the notification — the candidates who clear are the ones already practising.
