RRB ALP 2026: CBT 2 Result Declared – Check PDF and CBAT Details

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced that the result for the second Computer Based Test (CBT) of the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) 2026 examination is now available. The announcement directs candidates to consult the result PDF for their individual scores and to review the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) details provided by the board.

This result pertains to candidates who appeared for the second stage of the ALP selection process, which follows the initial CBT. The ALP exam is open to eligible railway aspirants who meet the prescribed age, educational, and physical standards set by the RRB. Typically, candidates must hold a valid diploma or degree in engineering or a related field and satisfy the medical fitness criteria for railway service.

The next step for candidates is to access the official RRB website and locate the result PDF file. The PDF contains a roll number-wise list of scores, along with any remarks regarding the CBAT. Candidates should carefully compare their roll numbers with the entries in the document to confirm their status. If the result indicates a qualifying score, the candidate will be eligible to proceed to the subsequent selection stages, which may include a physical fitness test and a personal interview.

It is essential for aspirants to verify the authenticity of the result by visiting the official Railway Recruitment Board portal (https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in). The website provides a secure download link for the PDF and may also display a separate section for CBAT details, such as cutoff marks and the number of vacancies filled at this stage. Candidates should not rely on third‑party platforms for this information.

For those who have cleared CBT 2, preparation should now shift toward the upcoming phases of the selection process. Reviewing the RRB’s official syllabus for the physical test and interview can help candidates focus on relevant topics, such as railway safety protocols, basic technical knowledge, and personal interview etiquette.

Candidates who did not achieve the required score should consider analyzing their performance in CBT 2. Common areas of difficulty include time management, accuracy in numerical ability, and understanding of railway-specific reasoning questions. Revisiting these sections with targeted practice can improve prospects for future attempts.

The ALP exam is a competitive gateway to a career in the Indian Railways, offering stable employment and opportunities for advancement. Understanding the overall selection framework—starting from the initial CBT, followed by CBT 2, CBAT, physical test, and interview—helps aspirants plan their preparation timeline effectively.

A practical tip for all candidates is to maintain a well‑organized record of their application numbers, admit cards, and result PDFs. This documentation becomes crucial when filling out subsequent application forms or responding to official communications from the RRB.

Finally, aspirants should stay updated on any further notifications from the Railway Recruitment Board. While the current announcement pertains only to the CBT 2 result, the board may release additional instructions regarding the schedule for the CBAT, physical test dates, or interview slots. Regularly checking the official website ensures that candidates do not miss any critical updates.

In summary, the RRB ALP CBT 2 result for 2026 is now publicly accessible via the official PDF. Candidates must verify their scores on the RRB portal, understand the next steps in the selection process, and continue focused preparation for the remaining stages.
